Sky Area Constraints

Sky Area Constraints allow you to select or exclude a region of the sky (J2000 epoch only). If the Equatorial System is selected, enter the desired range of Right Ascension (RA), Declination (Dec), or both. If the Galactic System is selected, enter the desired range of Longitude, Latitude, or both. Joint constraints in Equatorial RA and Dec and Galactic Latitude and Longitude may be entered if Both are selected for the System. The result is the intersection of the Equatorial and Galactic constraints.
