The GALEX All-Sky Survey Catalog (GASC) and Medium Imaging Survey Catalog (GMSC) are archived at MAST and can be queried there via CasJobs. More information can be found at https://archive.stsci.edu/prepds/gcat/.

NED nomenclature

Format: GALEXASC JHHMMSS.ss+/-DDMMSS.s (for GASC), GALEXMSC JHHMMSS.ss+/-DDMMSS.s (for GMSC)
Example: GALEXASC J234711.93+100501.3, GALEXMSC J022312.38-041036.8

Processing Notes

Sources in both the GASC and the GMSC were cross-matched with prior objects using the NED production pipeline (CSearch + MatchEx). A detailed report on the matching algorithm and results can be found in Ogle et al. (2015). The GALEX data in NED include new GASC and GMSC objects, cross-IDs and photometry.
